Landlord asking us to empty the shops i dont want to leave what to do

22-May-2023 (In Landlord/Tenant Law)
I have a shop from 1991 and the shop was made in 1986.i have been paying my rent of about a 1000 rs continously since then..firstly a year back the whole area including my shop and some other shops and some vacant area was sold by the owner but not conpletely but in partnership . They are asking us to empty the shops now but have not given any strict orders. Whereas 2 shopkepers have left the shops for just rs 14 lacs. I am not ready to leave my shop for such a small amount my earnings from the shop being good and my shop is on the main road where the cost of a shop with similar size is abt 1crore. I demand for more money or a shop in return.

Your landlord can not evict you immediately from the said premises. For which he is required to file a suit for eviction, and to file the same he was required to inform you by providing a notice prior to atleast 2 months from the date of the said sale. However, you can file a suit against the said eviction in the civil court.
