I have occupied 1 bed landlord demanding payment of 2 beds what to do

I am from hazaribagh, jharkhand and currently residing in ashok vihar phase 3, new delhi. I have been paying rent for one bed in a room @3500 rupees and their is 2 bed in my room. Now the landlady is asking me for 5000rs per month as no one is currently in my room but i dont ahve the capacity to pay now. For this month payment i told her to take 3500rs and i can pay upto 4500rs, this is my capacity. Sir/mam you only tell me how can i manage this. This is kind of mental torcher and i am not able to concentrate on my studies. Please help me...!!

Dear Sir,

did you and your landlady had an agreement for the room/ bed? you are not responsible to pay any rent except for the rent as agreed upon i.e. 3500/- it is the responsibility of the landlord to look for a new tenant and put the room on rent. in case you are unable to pay then you may give a notice and may leave the place
