How to recover money under rental agreement

Hi sir, I recently started a business and in my agreement my owner did a 2 year cumpolsary agreement with 2L as deposit amount . and suddenly my business went to complete loss now I am unable to pay rent and I asked my owner that I will vacate premises if u give me back my deposit amount. But he is not willing to give back money and he is saying u made 2 years cumpolsary agreement and u have to stay .please suggest me what should I do ...

You can file recovery suit against your landlord..,tenancy agreement creates various rights and obligations on you and the property owner. Without a contract to decide what happens when rights are breached or obligations not performed, problems will surely ensue. If you’re not familiar with the procedure, you should pay a lawyer to take you through it. A range of disputes could arise from a badly drawn out leave agreement.

Rent agreement is to be read by legal experts so that we can advise you properly. If you wish to take online answers then there will be no use.
