Fraud tenant refusing to move out of the rented property

18-Oct-2023 (In Landlord/Tenant Law)
I have rented a house property for a guy who said that he will be staying with his wife and children. Within a week, we came to know that he is divorced and does not have any children. Moreover the guy behaves like a psycho and terrifies people in the neighborhood. When asked to vacate the house, he does not agree saying that he needs more time and might take any duration. He has not paid the rent till now. What is the procedure to legally vacate the guy out of the house?

You should approach the Rent controller court to evict your tenant. You could plead the default in payment as the ground for eviction and if you could prove he has defaulted the payment the eviction would be ordered.
