Eviction of tenant due to abusive behaviour

07-Jan-2023 (In Landlord/Tenant Law)
I'm landlady of a building and have a rental (man with a wife and a young daughter), he has been misbehaving and abusing me and my husband since months but I was bound from removing him due to the agreement. Recently the agreement ended so I disconnected his electricity and water supply as he is not ready to leave and is threatening me and my family that he will destroy my building. His lawyer also called and warned me that he will file a case against me for disconnecting water and electricity supply. You should know this that I have CCTV evidence about his abusive language. Can they take any legal action against me and what should be my net step. He also broke the electricity meter box today so I will be filing a case against him for that as I have the CCTV footage regarding that too.

Hello.
In the firm instance u can lodge a report to police station against your tenant who used abusive and filthy language for you...

And secondly u give intimation or any legal notice upon him that he vacate your home and u

And u dont have right to disconnect electricity so u provide him electricity.

Hello madam.

U will have to file for eviction on these grounds and show the recoding as evidence.

But u cannot disconnect and water supply as this will go against u.

It's better u first give a police complaint and then file eviction suit.
