Can owner ask to vacate flat without any valid reasons
06-Oct-2023 (In Landlord/Tenant Law)
I'm living in a rented premises & have entered into a lease and license agreement with the owner. The owner has asked me to vacate the flat without giving any reasons. I'm living in that flat for more than a year now & the owner might want to rent it to someone else. As per our agreement, both parties can give 2 months notice for vacating. Is it correct from owners side to ask me to vacate? If yes, then can I ask for the agreement cost which I had paid during the agreement creation.
Yes, your landlord can ask you to vacate anytime if wants the premises. He has to give you time as mentioned in the agreement I.e. 2 months and the other part of your questions is if you can ask money for making the agreement then it's up to you as getting the agreement made does not charge a lot of money that's your discretion
