Can I legally move my in-laws from the house that is in my name

16-Mar-2023 (In Landlord/Tenant Law)
I had an apartment which I had bought before marriage. It is registered in my name. After marriage me and my husband shifted to my apartment along with my husband's father and mother. Post marriage staying with my in laws had become very painful. Also due to personal differences we are not able to get along with them and have frequent fights. Due to this me and my husband asked his parents to shift to a separate house so that we all can live peacefully. We even offered to to pay for the advance, rent and all the required items for the new house. But they are not agreeing for this at any cost. They want to continue living in the same house as they feel separating from their son creates a bad impression among their relatives. My mother in law abuses me with harsh words all the time. It's been a mental torture for me everyday. Is their anything I can do legally to persuade them to move out? The house is registered in my name. Also I have a rental agreement with my mother in law.

Ma'am, unfortunately there is no legal recourse to the same and your In laws needs counselling! There could be a plethora of reasons why they wouldn't want to shift out, for instance, fear of being separated from his son and portraying a bad image among relatives, lack of sufficient income to run an independent house etc.
On the contrary, I would suggest that you too stay with your on laws on the same house as separating from your inlaws could also mean loss of property that your husband and child may inherit, should the property be an ancestral one!
