Am I liable to pay property tax with rent under pagdi system?

I am staying in a rented ,pagdi flat since 1965. in Mumbai, My landlady is asking me to pay property tax with the rent.should I pay?
property tax is always paid by the owner. in your case neither you are owner so it is better the owner should pay for the same. if not then you must consult your local lawyer and issue legal notice to her.
