25-Nov-2023 (In Landlord/Tenant Law)

Hello, I got into an agreement for a flat with a lessor for 80,000 rupees advance and 10,000 rent The owner and lessor has an agreement in which they have a different type of deal. Now the owner and lessor are in conflict and the lessor is refusing to pay me my advance back. How should I proceed ? Should I give a police complaint and get an FIR and then start a case ? or will there be any immediate solution for the same ? please suggest

You should not vaccate the house and wait for lessor to take action. In case he serves legal notice then we suggest that you should reply the same and demand your security deposit.
