Agreement about to get over but landlord now asking for extra rent

We r completing 11 mths shop rent by Feb end 2017 but our owner is asking for 1 mths extra rent which is not mentioned in agreement and also forcing us to get tenant else will not give advance back what to do please advice I have already sent register post notice as he is not ready to meet n talk.
If you enter into litigation, you will become strong. Stop paying rent until advance amount is exhausted. Let us see how he will vacate you without taking recourse to law. The tenant is stronger than landlord. Property worth of lakhs of rupees is in your hands, Threaten him to follow the clauses mentioned in the rent agreement. Otherwise let him face the consequences.
