Will my arrest in past in any way affect my current job

Dear sir I have selected for teacher primary in govt job.i have not mentioned about my arresst.because case was closed.on police varification police told me about my this mistake.l have visited the authority and told staff about my this mistake.and asked them to write application. Staff said to me that if the case is not like murder no problem. I also told them fir 323/324/34ipc 506 was lodged. And acquitted by court .court said in my judgement there is no connection of a used to the guilt. Comlainant turn hostile.the statement given to the police were not given by them.after some days varification reached the authority and sent me a letter that answer of colum is have you ever been arrest mentioned you as no is leads to cancealing of fact .hence you forward the copies like fir and aquittel order. There is tension in my mind about my joining. Plz help
