When should I give notice if services end in September 2016

Dear Sir. I have signed a employment contract with my company in September 2014 for 2 years. it states that "In the even employee leaves the company after completion of two years, the employee is supposed to give THREE months prior notice to company. " My question is that my contract ends in September 2016, so can I give notice period before 3 months of it(i. e July 2016) or I will have to wait for my contract to end in September 2016 and then give 3 months notice period.
You can serve your company with the notice for resignation before 3 months of the expiry of the employment contract as provided in contract. You do not have wait for the contract to expire and then serve the notice.
