15-Jul-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I don't know I have criminal record or not and if I fill no criminal record in government jobs then when i selected what happens at the time of police verification, did they reject me if criminal record found or it may be Police case in 2017- 2018 government recruitment and the procedure is Police verification or self-attestation and what happens in self attestation procedure for above. In current self attestation procedure is going or police verification. What is the procedure?.
Police record means any police case registered against You and if pending or disposed of in conviction. So it may not be relied upon that you are not aware whether any police record is there or not. If it is noticed after getting the job, service will be terminated for concealment of facts
It's depends upon the decision of the court that you are convinced or acquitted if you are acquitted by the court then this criminal record will not effect your selection but if you are convinced by the court then the department can cancel your selection or reject you. But before passing any other rights to hearing you is compulsary so that you could take your defence.
