By law in India, a private limited company has to have at least two people called "Directors". This term has a specific legal meaning and is unconnected to other designations in common usage like "Managing Director" or "Assistant Director" or such.

No other term is legally required to be used.

When it comes to deciding on a designation, this is a matter of philosophy.

It's your firm - how do you want to be seen along with others who work with you.

Which “title” resonates most with you – founder, CEO, or entrepreneur?
