Unsatisfied with my appraisal what action can I take

i have been working since the past 1 and a half years and I am unsatisfied with my appraisal as the new appointed employees having same designation and are at a package of 1.4 per anum and my package after appraisal is 1.2 per anum. Can I take some legal action against the unfair treatment by employer?
Advise:
you can initiate arbitration proceedings against your employer for proper appraisal amount with interest. the arbitrarion proceedings are out of court legal proceedings and have same binding effect as court's order. such arbitration clause must be there in your appointment letter.
