Services terminated on frivolous grounds

01-Apr-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)

I am a doctor working for a university hospital in a department which is a PPP. My income is paid partly by the hospital and partly by the private player. At the time of joining, I was given an appointment letter by the hospital but it was verbally conveyed that the private player would also pay me. The pay from the pvt partner was shown as consulting fee. Now the private player has abruptly stopped my pay citing false allegations on email without issuing a written notice or warning. Can a legal action be taken??

Private employment depends and is governed by the appointment agreement signed between you and the company. So in your if there was no agreement between you and the private player then in that case you are not liable to take any action against him.
