09-Oct-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I got joining letter on 2014. And my Selection Process is completed in 2005. This delay was without any cause. In the vacancy advertisement published in 2005, department driven special recruitment drive for backlog vacancies of STs and SCs. In the mean while one person had joined the service in 2006. But department offered me this job on 2014. Can I get seniority from the year in which the selection process was completed ? Plz Help me.

Dear Sir,

how can you claim seniority on this basis when you have joined the institution in 2014 and others in 2006.

why did your company take such a long time to give you the appointment letter against this you can move the court and get the seniority as well as backwages. ( only if you are a govt. servant)

There is some confusion in the department in which you are working regarding appointment and seniority and same is creating worries in your mind so initially make representation before the concerned authority and even there after when your problem is not solved then you will have to take shelter of the competent court having jurisdiction
