Selection process not duly complied with can i challenge it in court

24-Oct-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I worked with in semi govt department from 1998 to 2007. Then they terminated me. After that i started my other work. In 2016 the govt of HP issued a notification for the post of some clerical staff. And experience of the relevant filed will be given 1 year = 1 point in the selection process. But they did not count my experience of more than 8 years reason being there was 8 years gap in experience from 2007 to 2015. Can i challenge the said selection.

Yes, you can file a Writ Petition in the Hon'ble High Court challenging the selection process of the department. But before challenging the selection process you need to have all the information and check the selection criteria. if gap candidates are not eligible then no point challenging it.
