Regarding Full and final settlement with previous company

Hi i would like to know a legal advice of how should get my full and final settlement from my previous company which i left on 15th April 2016 a written proof available for the same.since i put my resignation in march 2016 they had halted my salary under the norms of company policy and said they will reimburse the same in full and final settlement.Since then i have not been given any written communicated any thing about the final settlement and all i get to know on telephone is HR is not available or not present.my full and final settlement should add up to 1 lacks Rs. which is a big amount.

this is a normal course of action these days by the employer to harass the employee at the time of leaving.

to start with you may send them legal notice demanding your right and dues pending towards them. and incase they still dont pay you the amount you are entitled to you can file a recovery suit against them along with compensation and interest.
