this writ petition was field by the widow of freedom fighter seeking mandamus commanding the opposite parties to grant freedom fighters family pension to her along with arrears. late manik chand tandon who was freedom fighter and was convicted under section 4 of the ordnance no. 5 of 1932 according to which rigorous imprisonment of six month and fine of Rs 50 was also imposed, in case of default in payment of fine, the convict had to undergo one and a half month's sentence, thereafter, he was sent to jail on 04-08-1932.
