Received relieving letter can they ask me to return joining bonus

27-Apr-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I submitted my resignation on 20th March and got relieving date of 27th April. On 25th April, I applied to revert the resignation. But now they are asking me to relieve. What are my legal rights in this case? I also received joining bonus which they asked to return as the clause was that if I leave before October 2016, I have to return it. But I did not sign any documents. Can they force me to return joining bonus now that I have revoked my resignation?

Your employment in the private sector is governed by the employment agreement. If you have submitted your resignation, it is the discretion of the company to revoke it or not. In regards to the bonus received by you, it also depends upon the contract between you and the company.
