I have been denied due promotion as professor ,hinderances created by hod. gender discrimination is prevailing, junior males promoted. University administration is mum - /ask-a-free-question

One's right to considered for promotion is fundamental and the same cannot be denied to an individual due to discrimination on the basis of caste, creed, religion or sex. If others who were similarly circumstanced as of you have been granted promotion, you should also claim the same on the basis of parity. Move a representation before the Authority concerned and incase that fails to help, file a writ petition in the High Court alleging violation of Articles 14 and 21.
