Neighbour registered false case against me any problem in govt. job

Dear sir my neighbor has filed a complaint against me saying that I had attempted to kill him and police has registered a chapter case and called me police station and granted my bail immediately.Police did not arrest me and not keep in custody. I have applied for government job and if I shall be selected , must present character certificate from the police station and should provide them a certificate. Shall police issue the character certificate? what are my chances to gain government job in gujarat government with such history?

You must immediately approach the High Court of Gujarat to get the police complaint quashed. Registration of a police case shall debar you from seeking government appointment and in case you have been appointed then in that case shall result in your suspension.
