Need information regarding notice period

14-Jun-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
Hi Sir, I am working in a small IT company in for past 4 years and Now I have resigned. My notice period as per the company policy is 60 days and I have completed 32 days. As pet the policy there is an option of paying in full for the shortfall of notice and I wanted to opt for the same as my next employer has pressurised me join immediately. Please let me know, what can be done for opting this shortfall payout as my company is not accepting to use this option stating that there is a dependency on me and my manager has to approve. Is it required for me to get manager approval for paying the shortfall and for an early release?

When your company policy states about the option of paying in full for the shortfall of notice means opt for the same. Why your company is not accepting as it is their own policy ask your manager and explain about you exigency if they don't consider means then explain the same to your new company and join them. You can send a legal notice to your previous company by asking to do the needful as per their policy as they have violated the same.
