Need advice regarding a clause which has not mentioned in offer letter

18-Jun-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
Sir, i had attended a placement drive which has been conducted in my college and i got placed in that company. They provide us offer letter their itself and also they have collected Rs 1000 at that time..But they doesn't provide us any receipt for the money that they have collected from us. But now they are telling us to join a training course which cost around Rs 7000, which they haven't specified in their offer letter. Also only the successful candidates who is completing the training can only join for the job. My query is that whether i can skip this training course through any legal actions and to enter the job directly...

See the job is offered by them and if we skip the training through some legal solution then also you have to work with them so obviously they will be harrashing you. These private companies are acting smart now a days. So your next move will be very knee my kind advice proceed only if you feel the company is genuine or drop it then there.

Apart from the receipt, have they given anything in writing? Have you informed the College Authorities and the placement officer of the development. It may that they are taking you for a ride. It is not worth the trouble to take any legal action. At the most, you may demand back the money already collected.
