23-Feb-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I work in a MNC in Pune, I was not keeping well this month due to which I couldn't go to office that day & informed my manager about it & told him that dr. adviced 3 days rest but he insisted me to be in office or else he will mark me absent, I told him it should be a leave,Next day though I was not fit I had to go to office because of his adamant nature,I showed him Dr. certificate and explained my health condition via email and verbally both but to it he gave me a written warning that it should not be repeated or else strict deciplinary action will be taken against me. Dr. is a BAMS degree holder. Is he doing right by not accepting the reality and dr. cerfiticate. plz advice plz.

Your employment agreement is required to be looked upon. However, Article 21 of Indian Constitution provides that you are entitled to sick leave. If your employer denies you the same you can approach labour tribunal for the same.
