Legal notice received against non fulfillment of training bond

I had signed a training bond with an IT company whose duration was 12 months. But I had to leave the company after 6 months. Now they are sending legal notice asking me to pay the amount within 10 days.
Dear Sir,
As you have not completed the bond period the company is sending you a legal notice. you need to reply to the legal notice through a lawyer defending you so that in case the company files a case against you in future you may have a defense to prove in the court.
