Legal action for Increment and Promotion not given

Sir / Madam Working in a private organization, affiliated to state government university and central government statutory bodies. With out following their norms ( Prescribed salary and promotions rules) the affiliation of the concern will be cancelled. Despite of this they do give very less salary and nil promotions. Can we take legal action?
according to the agreement/ contract if you were given less salary then you can take legal action against them. if not they you cannot take any legal action as you have agreed to the terms and conditions of the organization.
