Legal Action for absconding from job

31-Aug-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I joined a company in May 2015 and to join that company, I had relocate to some other place; first I thought that place would be very nice but then I find that the company and the place is very bad; I didnt like company culture and people of the company. I was very very disappointed and upset with company and place; so I absconded in one month. now after one year I got mail of that company saying that complete your exit formalities or they will take legal action so what should I do now ?

You should have initamated the HR of the company or given your resignation before leaving. At the time of joining did you sign any bond or agreement with the company. Though the company has sent you a mail what does the company exactly want you to take from the company. Reply the email back check and if needed complete the formalities.
