Legal action against company by a contractor for breach of terms

13-Jul-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I am working as contractor for a us company. They have hired a company which is based in us/india to pay for my services. The us company agreed to pay me in usd/ hour. This company in india agreed to pay me 55 inr per usd which was rate 4 years back. But the company never changed rate which is averaging above 64 for last 3 years. Is there a legal case here ? Can I sue this Indian company for paying me much lesser than what is agreed?

There are two options in this case that one you can go for the laws and provisions in contract act and file a case in that regard. Secondly you can also file a recovery suit for the recovery of the due money. However you can also file a complaint in the police station for the offence of cheating defined under section 415 of the Indian penal code.
