left job in 13 days company asking for compensastion

I joined X MNC company and I worked their for 13 days. Due to some emergency i had to move to my native place and was unable to continue with th service. I informed the HR of the company about that but the id card of the company was possessed by me. Now after 8 months I received a legal notice saying that as per the company policy for the full and final settlement they are asking me to 82562. I didn't sign any bond also. in the legal notice they have mentioned that my employment with that X MNC company was from 3rd to 24th August for which I got salary. Now they are asking me to pay the amount
