Is it legal to remove a confirmed employee on the basis on an exam

16-Feb-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)

I have confirmed as an employee in my company and now they say if I don't give an ocpjp exam and clear it I will be removed from the company. Is it legal to remove a confirmed employee on the basis on an exam which was not mentioned anywhere in the contract.

If the termination is illegal and in voilation of your appointment letter then you can always  challenge the termination. We suggest that through a lawyer you can send a legal notice thereby seeking restainment and compsnation. If they fail to reply you can file suit, thereby seeking compenstation and restainment
