I belong to general category(women) but my husband belong to OBC, according to my husband category i have applied for a particular govt job under OBC(non creamy layer) category, later i came to know that wife caste will not change according to ones husband, now i got selected under GENERAL category for that particular job which i have applied. please tell me is there any legal problems, can i get that job?. thanking you.
Yes you can get the job, you can enquire and sort clarification again with the authority regarding the job and OBC/ general category, you can also file a RTI against this seeking clarification for the same,
