How to tackle F&F recovery / settlement

I joined 1 company(client & working location) on 3rd party payroll(my employer). I was asked to do job / work which was not mentioned in my profile / job description. So I left the job without serving notice period. I worked 22 days, got salary of 22 days ie. I left next day of salary cycle. Now my employer ie. 3rd party payroll company asking me to pay F&F settlement / recovery amount to their account. Since I was doing out of profile job so can I tackle this issue ? Help me. Thanks.

If the agreement for a full and final settlement was signed you can enforce or else the assurances given to you over chat could be helpful in taking your ex-employer to the Court. Depending on what exactly the settlement is based your remedy could be ascertained. You could either approach the labour Inspector or You might have to file a suit for recovery. Will need to know all the facts before the correct course of action can be decided.
