How to get stay order in transfer matter

I am promoted as Audit Superintendent. Audit Officer panel approved considering the vacancies expecting Regional Officer panel approval. but Superintendent panel approved without considering these vacancies will arrive from Regional & Audit officer panel. I requested for nearby office submitting my medical certificates (unmarried female). but without considering transferred me on promotion to 300km away. due to misunderstanding, my higher officer challenged me to transfer to a distance place.now can i get a stay order for this. my home town Paramakudi (Ramanathapuram Dist). transfer from Virudhunagar to Salem.
Yes certainly you can get the stay from the high Court. Have you given any detailed representation to your higher authorities?
If not, do it immediately. We can wait for one week if they don't consider your claim you can surely approach the high Court (if you are a state government employee since you have not mentioned you work under state government Or central government)if it is central government means you can file a case before the central administrative tribunal at Madras.
