How can I recover back my original documents

Dear sir, I was working with one organization where I have submitted my original educational documents.now I left that organization, i have serve 1 month notice period, 1 month I am ready to pay them as I have two months notice period. from last month I am following up with them but they are not responding to my mails and calls. Kindly suggest me what should I do to get back my original documents Thanks
Your employer does not have the authority to keep your original documents. You need to send them a legal notice seeking your mark sheet and if the same is not returned to you within 15 days, you can register a complaint in the police station for criminal breach of trust, blackmailing and extortion.
