It will have to be seen in the Contract that was signed with the Company as to what are the terms and conditions when it comes to resignation. What is rightfully due to an employee cannot be withheld and the employee has the right to recover its dues with the help of the relevant laws in this regard.

Usually salery and other due payment like leave pay, allowances etc are required to be paid within two days provided the employee does not have any outstanding in his name like advance Tour advance ,loan etc.
The payment of gratuity is also to be made within 30 days provided the employee has continiously worked at least five years. In case the employee fullfill this condition he would be entitled for 15 days salery for every year of his services and the payment of bonus is payable after bonus is declared as per payment of bonus Act1965
