Fresh hire absconding without any formal notice

My company has had lots of absconding by new hires. People start their work and within 4 to 5 days of work start absconding from office without the required exit formalities. Is there a process where this can be fixed. I am afraid of theft of data, company information and strategies. what is the best way to tackle such people ?

You can form a formal employment contract and has to serve notice before resigning from the job. You can claim for compensation if the employee leave the job before the prescribed limitation in the employment contract.
