F&F Settlement with my last employer. how to file a case ?

Hi, I am currently in Bangalore but my previous company was in Noida, UP. I am having an issue with my previous employer with regards to my F&F Settlement regarding which I intend to drag them to court. I have a basic question that can I sue the previous employer by taking the services of a lawyer in Bangalore or do I need to hire the services of a lawyer in UP only.
Private employment is governed by the term and conditions mentioned in your employment contract.
Generally, there is a clause in the agreement which states the jurisdiction in case of dispute, we need to go through your employment contract for giving proper answers to your questions.
Keeping in mind the general trend, since the company is located in Noida, the Noida courts will have jurisdiction to the matter.
You can hire a lawyer from Bangalore to defend the case or from Noida. There is no bar in chosing the advocate.
However, it is advisable to hire a local lawyer as it would be difficult for a Bangalore based lawyer to appear in Court on every hearing.
