18-Jul-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I joined in a X - company by signing a service agreement for 2-years and submitted a cheque of 1,50,000. 3 months back I quit the job by taking a sick leave for 2-3 months. I have stopped my cheque for payment at my bank. Can you tell me what will happen if company try to proceed the cheque for payment. they can proceed legally or not ?
if you have a signed cheque then you it is a kind of contract and the other person ows you that particular amount. However you can also send them a legal notice through your lawyer stating your demands and concerns .If you think that any of your right has been violated then you can also file a case under the provisions of civil procedure code.
