Employer forcing me to resign when asked for a department change

02-Apr-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)

I have been working with my current organization for over 3years. I had a successful stint with the company until recently when I raised a few questions on a few decisions that were taken in my department. My goals for 2015 were changed in month of December 2015, different processes were followed for internal promotion which I believed wasn't fare. Out of frustration,I sent an email to my departments director that I want to change my department or I would quit. This was a mistake I made from my end. Now my supervisors and the HR team are forcing me to leave the organization.

Since you have sent an email to the HR requesting a change of department, nothing can be done legally. What you can do is have a conversation with the Supervisors and the HR team and convince and plead them that you wish to continue with the job profile.
