employer denying payment of work done

I work in a big animation studio n i have proof of work n files for the in house extra freelance work that i have done .But its been 6 months n I still didnt got my payment plz guide mein the right direction what should i do now..
You can send him a legal notice demanding the payment of the same. Also, if there is any employment contract then it is required to be looked into. However, if the employer denies/ignores to comply to the legal notice then you can file a recovery suit in the jurisdictional civil court along with all the documents supporting your claim.
