Employer blocked my salary resigned without notice

21-Jun-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
My employer blocked my salary when I informed him about a offer from another employer, But I had not put my resignatiion yet. The next day he put a condition to pay my salary only if I continue to serve under him. Without any other option I said yes. Next month I put resignation, and again he blocked my salary during notice period, so I served my notice period for only 18 days( offical notice period 3 month), gave KT & joined the next employer early(giving a fake FnF). Now the old employer is threatening me to serve notice period or face legal action. Any advice would be helpful.

Your employment in the private sector is governed by your employment contract. If you were suppose to serve 3 months of notice period then you are bound to do that, if you fail to do so then you are liable to pay compensation.

You can recover your pending dues and salary from your ex employee. You can send a legal notice demanding the pending dues and salary.
