Does taking leave to attend court dates necessary

I am  from Hyderabad, I am government employee. Facing court trials like 498A, mentanance case, Divorce, DVC . Is there any provision, by taking permission of authority to attend the court without taking leave. Is it necessary that i should take leave to attend the court?. if "NO" , kindly specify the rule?

There is no such rule. Although, you can exhaust your employment leaves such as CL, EL etc. for the same. Though, you can inform the head of your department regarding the same.
