does small government schools come under maternity leave

Maternity Benefit (Amendment) Bill, 2016 has provision of creches. My relative is a teacher in a government primary school in a nearby village. I want to ask if the provision of creches applies to such schools,banks etc which employ less than 50 employees. Please reply
Yes the said amendment will be applied in the same way to all the government and private sector. Also, according to the new amendment maternity leave is granted for atleast 26 weeks.

.. No, It is applied to the department having 50 or more employees only as per the procisions given under maternity benefit (amendment) act 2016 it is not applicable in you case as it has less than 50 employees
