Court case for delayed in payment of pension benefits

Mr X retires on dated 2006 from govt service, but nothing was paid to him, so he filed the case. Court made the decree sheet in which it was ordered that Mr X is entitled for the payment of pension & pensionary benefits ( Arrear of pension amount, Leave Encashment Amount, GPF amount& Gratuity) along with interest @ 18%p.a. till the date of actual payment of decretal amount. Deptt paid arrear of pension & pensionary benefits in 2011. But the total interest on account of delayed payment made in 2015. Now Mr X is claiming for interest on interest Please tell what is decretal amount in this case

Hello,
You are entitled to claim interest from the date of your dues till the time your paid. In my understanding interest from 2006 to 2011 is due to you. If the payments are made in 2015 then interest on that payment till it is actual paid. kindly refer the court order, it will be as per order only. Regds
