The high court cannot take the contempt of supreme court. Even though the high court is a court of record it cannot take the contempt of the apex court. There is very clear judgement which Delhi high court took the contempt of supreme court and supreme court disagreed with it .

No. Contempt can b filed only before the court which passed the judgement. High court can not entertain a contempt of supreme court. U will have to pursue it before the apex court itself.
Thank you.

No is the answer. The contempt petition needs to be filed in the Supreme Court itself.
