Company taking legal action against candidate for not joining

I am seeking an advice pertaining to labor law . I got a job offer from an insurance company which i accepted on mail only . There is no signed documents between me and the the company . Since i have refused to join the compnany citing personal reason . The company is threatening against me for legal action in court . Pls guide me what to do ?

Ingredients.one-a set of term's & conditions of employment and another - acceptance of the same with or without rider by the individual to whom such letter has been issued.
Prima-facie, you have failed to fulfill your promise to join the organisation for which the Said organisation might have suffered loss/damages.
If you didn't receive any benefit from such organisation, you send a letter of regret by post and forget the episode.

MY OPINION THAT i have follow your submission, i think that you have got job offer from that company through mail, and no signed documents are effected in your matter,so you have very mush strong position to counter with that company with multiple legal ways.
