Company refusing to pay bonus after termination

20-Feb-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)

Hi My Company recently terminated my service on grounds I dont fit into their culture (although I have been asked to resign officially). I have sent them an email agreeing to resign however when I asked for my bonus they say since I wont be actively employed by them at the time of payout they wont pay me my bonus (period Oct to Mar). Is that legally right? And can they terminate me on grounds of culture fitment? I have not yet signed my exit douments.

We suggest that you should send them a legal notice thereby challenging their termination on the ground of discrimination and seek compensation . Further you can file a writ petition thereby seeking infringement of fundamental rights
