Company recruited but later denying employment due to amended rules

10-Jan-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
Sir, In a government college, some permanent assistant professors are appointed in 2011 the advertisement of which did not mention age or category. In 2012, they advertised with modified rules mentioning age, and category. A candidate was selected but now they say he is over-aged and can not be appointed. If he files a petition regarding violation of article14 and natural justice, is there any possibility of his getting that appointment.

The Facts provided by you are insufficient for giving a proper and reasonable solution to your query. However, You can move to the civil court for the purpose of compensation as reinstatement of your job is quite difficult. Thus, file a suit against your employer demanding compensation.
